It's finally time for another outfit post and before I start I really want to thank you all for your love and sweet words on my first outfit post. I can't wait to share more of personal style with you all, so knowing you enjoy is everything! Speaking of personal style, this time I decided to show a bit more of my girly side. If you were to combine hipster with shabby chic (strange combo, I know) I think it would look a little something like this. I took my newest favorite peplum shirt and turned it into the perfect sundress for the heat. It's pretty funny how this whole peplum to a dress thing happened. Im always looking for bargains, so when I stumbled upon this emerald beauty on sale for 5 bucks at Urban I was too excited, until I noticed it was one size too large. So wishful thinking, I decided to try it on anyways, and it fit perfectly... as dress though! But I guess sometimes you have to think outside the box, even when styling yourself right??

LMS Tip 2: Using tip one's theme of thinking outside the box. Try wearing the items in your closet in unconventional ways. A-line blouses make cute mini dresses and maxi skirts make even more adorable sleeveless dresses. No matter what you do, it's important that you try it on first to make sure you don't look like a crazy person wearing your shirt as a dress lol. Also, use accessories like belts, bold jewelry, and shoes in order to dress it up. And if the whole shirtdress thing doesn't work for you, you could also switch things up by wearing your favorite button down shirt as a jacket or your dad's cool tie as a belt. Like I always say, it's all about how you style it...
